ISO Management Standard

ISO 18404:2015 – Quantitative methods in process improvement – Six Sigma – Competencies for key personnel and their organizations in relation to Six Sigma and Lean Implementation, is an international standard defines the competencies for both the organization and individual. This standard is applicable to organization using manufacturing processes as well as service and transaction processes.

The standard was created on an international basis to stamp out bad practices and misuse of the approaches. Six Sigma and Lean are lucrative implementation, training, consultancy and certification markets and interest is growing not declining.
